Concrete day, That's not leprosy, A video view of the area

Today's events

We've rented a concrete mixer

By the early afternoon, most of the rock will be gone

The base of this wall and footers doesn't look like much, but trust me, it was work

That's not Leprosy

We got the broken basketball post replaced and concreted in

My friend turned 29

It was the best Tres Leche (3 milk) cake ever!

Happy birthday Gabriel, you have a beautiful family

Here is his son and another boy at the "Adolescent Boy's House"
Yep, 2 of the 14 or so boys have broken arms
I know what your thinking, teenage boys, I'm surprised there aren't more broken limbs

Of course there was a ride in the back of the pickup as we returned the rented concrete mixer.

You can't hear the sound, I'm basically saying, "Here's what the country side looks like"

Prayer Requests:
  • Safety as my birthday friend and another travel into town tonight to watch something with horses (yeah, there's still a language barrier. I'm not quite sure what we're doing yet)
  •  More time purposefully studying the Book of Romans
Praises:
  • Complete healing of my body
  • Good sleep
  • Zero mosquito bites the last 2 nights (I've been fighting this since arriving)

  1. Thank you for sharing your experiences, Dan. I love reading about and am always so impressed with all the things you are doing to help these children.
